This post would suit a passionate and motivated colleague who is experienced in working successfully with children with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to ensure their success.

As a teacher/unqualified teacher, you will need to share our commitment, vision and values. As we move towards converting to an academy trust, this post could lead to further progression opportunities within the Junction 16 team and our schools over time.

The successful candidate will have experience and a passion for motor vehicles. This may be with cars or other specific vehicles such as motor bikes. They would ideally have some experience in the motor vehicle industry and/or in education. An appreciation and understanding of Alternative Provision (AP), being able to engage and enthuse our pupils is key. The successful candidate would work collaboratively within a diverse team of professionals from across the education and wider care landscape.

We understand that our staff team are at the heart of our success. We have developed a strong culture of collaboration and cooperation with a high regard for personal and professional development. If you feel you have the ability and drive to enable our students to reach their full potential, joining our schools will offer many personal benefits including:

We firmly believe in giving pupils the tools to manage their own attitudes to their education and learning experiences, progress and behaviour. We provide positive reference points for pupils to reflect upon and grow from. We believe in establishing strong and supportive relationships with parents and carers, recognising the power of a ‘team around the child’ as another important factor in pupils’ success during their time with us.
