We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, ambitious and inspirational colleague to join our established Construction Alternative Provision.
This post is integral to our schools and the Junction 16 Service and plays an important role in enhancing opportunities for young people. This post would suit a passionate and motivated colleague who is experienced in working successfully with children with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to ensure their success.
As a teacher/unqualified teacher, you will need to share our commitment, vision and values. As we move towards converting to an academy trust, this post could lead to further progression opportunities within the Junction 16 team and our schools over time.
The successful candidate will have experience and passion in the construction industry or training, have knowledge and understanding of Alternative Provision (AP), be able to engage and enthuse our pupils and work collaboratively within a diverse team of professionals from across the education and wider care landscape.
Our mantra “we never give up” and “great today, better tomorrow” underpins our approach to working with pupils and guides our values. This is a fundamental part of the Respect Collaboration of Schools’ vision so it is important that the successful candidate can fully embrace and embody this philosophy.
We understand that our staff team are at the heart of our success. We have developed a strong culture of collaboration and cooperation with a high regard for personal and professional development. If you feel you have the ability and drive to enable our students to reach their full potential, joining our schools will offer many personal benefits including:
We firmly believe in giving pupils the tools to manage their own attitudes to their education and learning experiences, progress and behaviour. We provide positive reference points for pupils to reflect upon and grow from. We believe in establishing strong and supportive relationships with parents and carers, recognising the power of a ‘team around the child’ as another important factor in pupils’ success during their time with us.
Respect Collaboration of Schools and Junction 16 are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Therefore, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and other vetting procedures including the provision of two good references.
